American Armory Museum
The American Armory Museum is located off of I-80 in Fairfield/Suisun.
Their mission is to educate future generations about, and impress upon them, the sacrifice, bravery and enduring significance of the United States military through military vehicle displays, armaments, other military related items and educational videos.
SpiritHorse Equine Center
Located in American Canyon, the SpiritHorse Equine Center offers Veteran programs specifically tailored to address the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of veterans, including those coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and physical injuries.
Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy
Rowland Freedom Center recently awarded their Youth Service Award to the Buckingham Volunteers for their outstanding service to the museum, particularly for the museum's events.
The Golden Hills Mustang Club, established in 1982 in Fairfield, CA, is a non-profit charity promoting the ownership of Ford Mustangs, America's favorite pony car since 1964.
The Club seeks to make a positive difference in the communities in which we reside through the following:
1. To raise funds from an annual car show, where a portion of the net proceeds are donated to a local charity.
2. To collect donations of food from members attending monthly meetings to be donated to local food banks or homeless shelters.
3. To collect donations of supplies, gifts and toiletries from members to be sent to our troops deployed overseas.
4. To raise funds for educational scholarships for high school students.
5. To support our local and regional Veterans by donating time and resources to their programs.
In 2012, the Golden Hills Mustang Club won the Golden Rule Award, the grand prize in a contest for the most outstanding Community Service Program in the Western Region, sponsored by the Eagle One Car Care Products Company. The Grand Prize was awarded for the most compassionate achievement, and GHMC was honored for sending 75 pound packages of food, toiletries, gifts and other necessities to U.S. Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq every month during 2011.
Wreath Project
We are looking for partners to come together with RememberAVet.net on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for the second annual “RememberAVet.net at Sunrise” Event! This year we gather in memory of Susie Stocking who spearheaded all things Wreath Project for the last 20 years and did so successfully. We are continuing the Wreath Project with her spirit guiding us. We hope you will join us for the night with a delicious dinner, no-host bar, music, with silent & live auctions.
